Eliana’s POV Almost a week later, the ethics committee finally came to their decision. That morning, I was on my way out of my first class when I received an email from them. My heartrate spiked as soon as I saw the email. To make matters worse, Annabelle wasn’t in school that day. So I had no form of emotional support to help ease my worries. I was stranded and alone.
