I was just getting ready to leave my office for an emergency meeting when I heard a loud knock on my door. The harsh sound nearly made me jump out of my skin. I turned my head sharply in that direction, temporarily pausing what I was doing. Before I had a chance to gather my thoughts, the knock came again.
There was no one on earth I could think of that had the right to bang my door like that. Not even my best friend or my wife. Except if it was an emergency. Or could it be Oliver? Was he that audacious?
