For over a minute, none of us said anything. I sent my gaze in the direction Jared and the girl had gone to. I couldn't see them so I was left wondering what they could possibly be doing. Who was the girl to him? And how long have they known each other? It didn't help that I’d seen movies where a guy and his girl had issues and the guy decides to seek solace in another girl until they sort their s**t out. After our little encounter a few minutes ago, it would be foolish to deny that Jared was capable of doing something like that.
