-Mr. Keene, how can I help you?- my voice sounded different, like something fierce in me had just awakened. I am pretty fierce already, no need for more.. 

-Please call me Michael. After all, I do want to date you but not the way my father wants. I want to go out with you and work on the project of course. You are one of the biggest business minds at the moment.

-Flattery won't get you anywhere Michael. I am not looking to be romantically involved with anyone at the moment. The family business is all I care about. I could work on the project with you but that will be about it.

-Tina, Think about it, it will be great for the companies if the world thinks we will be merging them. Everyone is going to want a piece of the pie.- I know when an idea is good and this one is amazing.

-I agree with you It will be stupid not to take advantage of this but when we dont fell nothing for each other lets not push it. I don't believe in prince charming but I do believe in true love. I hope to find that one person in this world for me.

-I agree with your conditions. I will have my lawyer redact a contract and pass it to your lawyers for you to sign. I will pick you up tomorrow for our first date.

Just like that he left my heart feeling lonely for a moment like I was missing a piece of myself. I let a breath go and my head pounded me like never before. I think I might be getting sick. Maybe before dinner tonight I can ask the family doctor to check me out. I clean my desk and get my purse and tell Lily that we are leaving. Lily is my best friend and my secretary. We took the elevator once on the first floor we uttered goodbye to Jess. 

My mother is a great designer today but back before she met dad she had a little shop in the city. She used to tell my sister and me of those years. Today I always go to those little shops in support of small businesses. 

POV Michael.

The other day in the business meeting with dad I met Tina Sable, an amazing businesswoman. I also had a feeling like she was my mate. You see I am a werewolf and future alpha of one of the greatest packs. Unfortunately my father insisted on holding on as alpha until I found my mate and Luna. I think the time has come to take my position. I still think it is weird that I was paired with a human. Lunas are strong in character and heart; they are the mothers of the pack. Nurturing each member is their job. Because of that the Moon Goddess only chooses the stronger ones to do that job. I called her father’s company. She had not arrived yet. I will get a call back later with an answer. Since dad was not giving me the pack just yet I went for a year long trip around the world to the biggest business cities. The call came and she will meet me at 1 after her lunch.

I have arrived at her office building and I am directed to the elevator. When I arrived at the top floor I was shown to her office. The second I entered her office her smell filled my lungs and my wolf wanted out but I didn't let him. He will frighten my little mate. The pride on her eyes covers something else in it.

I left her office feeling I left half of my heart behind. I called one of the city's restaurants to give me a reservation for tomorrow night. I will be having dinner with my future Luna. I want everything to be perfect.  She deserves the world.
