"You alright?" Dashna asked me. I talked to him on the phone while I was lying on the bed.
"No."
"We were shocked by Maureen's revelation earlier," he said. I did not say a word. I think deeply.
I don't want to see Maureen and Clark again. They are already hurting the heart too much. The world we live in is small and I don't want to add to the pain.
There was a knock on the door and daddy was thrown out. She smiled as she held the papers.
"Dashna, I'll just talk to daddy. I'll call you later," I said goodbye to him. He agreed and then I sat on my bed. "Dad, do you need anything?"
