My Saviour

Episode 2

I walked to the locker room and put my stuff in one of the lockers

Looking at the mirror I applied more powder on my face to cover the bruise on my face. After I was done I walked to my boss room and walked in after knocking 

'Morning Ruth' I said with a smile on my lips

'Good morning my dear, how are you holding up?' she asked 

Ruth is the owner and my dear friend. She already retired but still stays here a lot doing some paperwork and stuff...She s aware of my situation at 'home' and she has been very supportive and kind about it

Sometimes she tries to persuade me just to runaway and leave everything behind. And that includes Ruth

'I have been better' I said

'Please, would you just go. I don't care what those devils do to me. You are young and have everything ahead of everything, you don't deserve this...' she said

'No, I cant do that to you and you know that! I just wanted to make sure its ok if I take some leftovers with me today' I said

'Of course honey, take as much a you like' she said with a smile

'Thankyou, you saved my day once again' I mumbled

'Well  should get back to work' I said

'You probably should its quite a hustle over there' she giggled

I walked back to the cafe and started working

Hours passed as customers come in and out ordering cakes and drinks. Today was more tiring for me since there wasn't a lot of workers but I managed to handle it

Suddenly two tall men walked into the café filling the cafe with their expensive muscular cologne. The man at the front caught my attention

He had dirty blond hair with was perfectly styled on his head and had a stubble beard but that didn't stop his jawline from standing out. His blue eyes looked like the ocean and had a bit of darkness in them as well. He wore a white shirt that was hugged by his muscular body, well fitted ripped jeans and some black Salvatore Ferragamo trainers 

I walked towards them straightaway since I had to do my job. The closer I got to them the more strong the masculine scent was which filled up my lungs making me so nervous

;Well hello there' the other man said with a smirk on his lips

He was attractive, had black styled hair deep jawline and was muscular as well but the other man was more handsome

'He-hello, you can sit wherever you like. I will come to take your orders soon

The two men went to sit down I disappeared the the other room

JASON

'Man am exhausted, and hungry!' Andrew muttered

'Yeah man it was harder than expected' I said

'Man, I could eat this whole menu' Andrew said 

'I know you could but please don't'

We stayed there for a couple of minutes before the same waiter came to ask for our order

'So have you decided what you want to eat' she asked

'A big plate full of eggs and bacon and lots of coffee' Andrew said

'and for you sir'

'Same but more reasonable amount' I said

'And what is that supposed to mean?' Andrew asked folding his hands

'You could feed a small village with that order' I said making Andrew to look at me angrily

'Thankyou, I will be back with your order shortly' she said before leaving

AVA

There is something mysterious about that blonde haired stranger...

I turned around from what I was doing and threw the blonde man a glance only to see he was staring at me which made me blush

'Why is he staring at me like that' I thought

His gaze was so intense...It felt like he saw right through me. Why can't I move my eyes off him?

JASON

'Boss'

'Boss!'

'Boss!'

'Earth to Jason!' Andrew shouted kicking me out of my thoughts

'What' I muttered angrily throwing death glares all his way

He stared at me and looked behind to where I was staring only to realise the waiter that had asked for their order was stood there getting their food ready

'I see' he sad winking

'I don't know what you are talking about' I said pissed of with the looks he was giving me

'Here is your food' the waiter said placing our order on the table and the sweet smelling of the food hit my nose

AVA

As I leaned down to put the food on the table I couldn't help but stare at him again which I totally regretted because my heart started beating erratically 

Being that close to him somehow sent shivers down my body

I stood there looking at him as he deeply gazed at me until the black haired man coughed making me realise what was happening

'Thanks' the blondie said with a deep, husky voice sending tingles all over my body

'Is there anything else I could for you' I asked

'I don't know, is there boss?' the black haired said while looking at his friend and gave him a wink

'Everything is fine than you' the blondie said rolling his eyes

I nodded my head and walked back to my position

AFTER THE SHIFT

'See you tomorrow' I said to Julia, a worker just like me before leaving 

When I walked outside the café Carlos and Matt were already there waiting

Matt grabbed my arm an started to pull me towards the car. I groaned n pain cause I was still sore from last night but he didn't car

Little did they know Carlos and Andrew were outside and had witnessed Ava being dragged into the car

BACK IN AVA's HOUSEHOLD

 I was in my bedroom reading a book before Matt budged in with an annoyed look on his face

'Where is our food?' he asked and that when I knew I was in deep s**t since I had forgotten
