[Izzy"s p.o.v] "My god.. I have to get ready for school.." I thought as I rolled over and looked at the clock 8:30 it read. "I don"t wanna..." I told to the darkness of my room as I eventually hopped out of bed and made my way to my bathroom. After the months of the murder of my sister I have grown quiet, not speaking to anyone unless it was necessary. Keeping my thoughts to myself at school as well as at home. It seemed like my family were the only ones that remembered my sister, everyone else acted like she or what happened didn"t exist. Everything went back to normal or as normal as things get in this town. I brushed through the tangles of my shoulder length black hair before putting it into a ponytail and brushing my teeth. I then proceeded to wash my face of all its tiredness. It was like a splitting image of Ashley except for my eye color. Ashley"s eyes had been a light brown while mine were hazel. I put on a gray hoodie and black tights with my Jordans before making my way down to the kitchen were my parents sat. After the murder my mother feel into a depressing state it was very rare to see her outside of sitting in Ashley"s room or in her room staring at a picture of Ashley. My father on the other end through himself into work I guess to hide the heart in pain he was in he became a workaholic. Grabbing a granola bar and my car keys, I left the house making my way towards my all black charger. I was closing the door to my locker when the so called popular kids walked by headed by Crystal and her boyfriend Zack. Them two make me sick. It wasn"t even a full month after my sister death when those too hooked up. "Hey Izzy" Crystal said she has been trying to become my friends for a while now but just couldn"t get the hint that I didn"t want to be hers. So ignoring her I sidestepped her and continued down the hair to my first class, Trigonometry. Oh. And it just so happens that Crystal in that class too. Dang it. I was settled in the very back when she came in looking towards me. "Iz, why want you talk to me?" She said taking a set right next to me. It has been so long since I heard that nickname. My sister would always call me that... My... sister.. I felt like I was about to cry, but I managed to stop any tears from shedding. "Don"t call me that. What do you want anyways? It"s not like we have something to talk about." She became silent after I said that. Luckily the teacher came in before she tried to say something else to me. Once the class was over I all but sprinted out and disappeared into the crowd of kids to the sound of Crystal calling my name. "Why the hell does she have to keep chasing after me?" I though as I eased myself into the small clearing behind the school to eat my lunch. The clearing was very small with only a patch bout the size of a sandbox of bright healthy green grass surrounded by tress. Some beautiful sunflowers growing in the clearing swayed in the light breeze that was being bring on by the wind. I remember the day me and my sister found it. {Flashback} It was just a normal day. Ashley and I had just got back from gym class to find her necklace she had dropped when we went for a run. "Hey Iz? Have you seen it?" Ashley asked with stress in her voice. It was now after school and they both have been looking for the last twenty minutes and still haven"t found it. "Nope, are you sure you brought it?" I asked stretching out of my squat trying to pump the blood back into my legs when I caught a shiny thing glittering in the sun. "Hey I think I got it!" It was caught on a root of a stem on the ground I tried to pull on as hard as I could with out breaking it but it was no luck. "Really move aside." She said pushing me a little to hard making me stumble back and into the bush behind me. I was dazed for a few before I looked back up and instead of finding my sister I was staring up at the sky on my back. Looking around I saw myself in a clearing. "Ash, come here look what I found." I said looking at my sister as she looked around for me. "Where are you?" She turned until I called back out to her. "Wow you was hidden pretty good. How did you find this place?" "I found it after you pushed me. I fell over here and saw the clearing." Lizzy explained. "Well, from now on this will be our secret hideout. Nobody is invited here okay?" Ashley looked at me booking her necklace back around her neck. "Yea, okay! Now let"s go before mom put out a search and rescue for us." And with that we bounded out the woods arm in arm joking around. The thought of the clearing on both of our minds. {End of Flashback} Damn. How am I suppose to get through life without my best friend? She was my rock, my go to person but now she"s not here. Now she"s in a grave, murdered by a unknown mysterious person. For all I know, it could be anyone. Ding! I looked to my phone and saw the time. I have only 5 minutes to get to class or I"m late. I bolted running like my life depended on it. Well, it wouldn"t be my life, it would be my grades. I made it with a minute to spare. Walking to my desk in the back of class near the window I saw Crystal sitting in the seat next to it. Damn it. This girl will not leave me alone. She was about to say something when the bell ring. Lucky me. Literally saved by the bell. "Quiet down, quiet down please I have an announcement." Mr. Jones said coming from behind his desk. "Now seniors, this is some of y"all"s last month here and so the principal decided to push the lock in forward and this Friday we will be meeting here at the school at 6:00 so be prepared bring all the things you need for the weekend. Food and drinks will be provided. So come if you want. Or if you don"t have a great weekend." He finished looking at his students chat about the weekend. "Now back to last class lesson." Since it was the last class of the day for me I wasn"t really paying attention just waiting for the bell to ring and when it did I bolted making it to my little bug before anyone could stop and try to talk to me, especially Crystal and her boy toy. I was drumming on my stirring wheel to the Adel song that was playing on my radio, waiting for my turn to pull out of the school when there was a knock on my window. Rolling my eyes I let my window down for Crystal. "What do you want?" I asked looking at her. "Hostile much I was wondering if I could get a ride home, Zack has football practice so he can"t take me today and my parents took my car to the shop." She replied. Zack... that air head brain of his get on my nerves.. "Get in before I change my mind", I demanded. I didn"t even wait for her to close the door before I pulled out. "Izzy.." "What do you want? Why do you have to keep on trying to talk to me? Can"t you get the hint I will never be friends or associate with someone that betrayed my sister. Or are you gonna finally tell me who you was talking to that night?" I expelled with a sign I was getting sick of her. Yes I felt like she betrayed my sister not with going out with Zack but how quickly she did it. Also she has been dodging my question about that night for months now and until she tell me we have nothing to talk about. "Well damn if you put it like that, I"ll stop. You want to be a b***h I"ll be one back. Goodbye." Crystal got out slamming the door of my car on her way to her three stories home. I made my way to my house only stopping to pick up Ollie on the way there. Ollie was my gay best friend, he wasn"t one of those flamboyant types but more laid back go with the flow type. He had shoulder length black hair that framed around his face bringing out his hazel eye color and mocha skin color he was about 6 ft to my 5"10 ft. Ollie has been my friend since we was little toddlers, taking baths together everything. I always figured we was drawn together because we shared a birthday. He was there for me when my sister died helping me pull through and with stand the pity looks everyone gave me when she passed. He was also there when Crystal and Zack got together and I was coming up with a murder plan, he trying to talk me out of it. Ollie is my rock nowadays. He had his hair pulled back into a ponytail today. "What the hell Izzy, I"ve been waiting for a while." He said throwing his overnight back in the back seat. "Sorry Ollie I had to take that thing home" I replied "Anyways why weren"t you at school today?"
