I was only in the Moon Realm for a few seconds before I felt the difference. The air changed around me. It was different from anything I had ever experienced on Earth—lighter, almost like it was alive, and glowing softly with a silver light that I could feel even in my veins. My heart beat faster as I looked around. Towers of pale crystal rose from the ground, spiraling toward the sky like frozen rivers of light. Gardens glimmered with plants that shimmered in colors I didn’t even have names for. The ground beneath my feet felt soft yet strong, like it knew I belonged here, even if I didn’t really know it myself yet.
