ELISA'S POV Darkness swallowed me whole. The dream began the way it did the first time, without warning, without mercy. One moment I was floating in the mix of comfort and confusion of Azrien’s bed, the faint warmth of his presence still clinging to me even in sleep, and the next I was barefoot on cold, damp earth, the world around me drowning in darkness.
