ELISA'S POV The outside air hit me like a wave. It was filled with scents I hadn’t breathed in for so long. My lungs felt like they didn’t even know what to do with it. For a moment, I just stood there beyond the borders, my arms wrapped around me. I could almost smell it in the air—freedom.
