“Jade.” I frown as I recall the way she betrayed our Pack and killed my closest friend, Matt, almost a year ago. “But how, didn’t Mackenzie kill her?” Cas questions as she frowns at the head before glancing back at me. “She did,” I say before glancing back at Cordelia and Evanox, finding that they had turned their attention to Jade’s dead body as well. “Oana... I am certain she brought Jade back from the dead... and if she did that, then at this point we have to assume that Jade is not the only one she brought back...” Cordelia says as she tried to keep herself composed, taking in a deep breath as she stares down at the snow. "This is Mackenzie's jacket..." Annabelle says as she examines the jacket over Sareia's body. “Jade must’ve killed Sareia... and Mackenzie must’ve killed Jade. You can see traces of Mackenzie’s black fur on the snow and her scent is strong in this area.” Annabelle explains as she looks around. “She must still be close, we just have to follow her scent.” Berry lets out. “She’s not the only scent I’ve picked up. There are multiple others as well... including Alpha Miles and Alpha Nate... and also... more blood...” Cas lets out warily as the 3 of them stare warily at me. “Come on, we have to move faster,” I say and grip onto the briefcase at my side. Hopefully what’s inside this briefcase will be able to solve all our pending problems for good... I turn to look at Evanox who is still crouched down, staring down at his fallen friend. “Evanox... we have to go...” I say carefully, not knowing exactly how that would make him feel. Lycans have always been known to be unstable and Evanox happens to be both Lycan and Vampire. “We have to go, my love, Mackenzie and the others can still be in danger...” Annabelle says as she cups her Mate's face in her hands, making him look at her. Exanox stares at her with tears in his eyes before he takes a frustrated breath and closes his eyes for a moment, turning back to face Sareia. "Farewell, my friend." He says before he places the jacket over her body and stands back up to the ground. Evanox's takes a deep breath, growling to himself as he feels the anger boil inside him. He turns to me, a look of determination printed on his face as he takes a step forward and begins to lead us towards Mackenzie and the others. "Let's move." .  .  .  .  .  “Arise my children.” The moon goddess commands as they all stand to their feet and stare at her in awe. Mackenzie takes another step forward and stares at the goddess up and down before she bows against slightly. “It is truly an honour to be in your presence...” Mackenzie says before she raises her head to look at the goddess Selene. “I am humbled, young Alpha.” She smiles at Mackenzie as well the others behind her. “Why did you bring us here?” Mackenzie asks her and Selene smiles and turns around to walk back to the giant tree. “Follow me.” She instructs as Mackenzie looks back at her friends and Mate, walking forward and following after the goddess. “You were all killed, and I brought you here so that I could speak with you.” She says as she finally reaches the tree and turns back around to the group. “Where is here exactly?” Miles asks her. “It is sort of like the afterlife but... not the afterlife.” She says as she keeps her hands out in front of her. “Speak about what exactly?” Mackenzie asks her. The goddess takes a deep breath as she tries not to allow a frown to form on her perfectly structured face. “Aron Vinoxavia.” At the mention of the man that killed all of them, they all tense and hand the goddess their full and undivided attention. “You need to understand where all his hatred comes from. And for that, you need to see for yourselves... where it all began...” She trails off before she stares at Mackenzie in particular. “Show us...” Mackenzie lets out and takes a step forward. The goddess nods her head before she raises her hands up and their surroundings begin to change slowly, from a vast meadow to a Viraanian palace, similar to Greek structures. “Where are we?” Mackenzie asks as she looks around her. “Xendora... Viraania... 20AD. This is where the Werewolf race began...” The goddess says as she begins to walk forward, smiling as children run through the hallways of the palace, walking right through Miles and Nate and appearing on the other side as if they had passed through a mirage. “I am the mother of all Werewolves, meaning that all bloodlines are derived from me...” She begins as she continues to walk forward. “I had 10 children in total. The first line of Werewolves to ever exist... Vremud, Fazani, Verdo, Revolaire, Achidan, Merrani, Gorosta, Detanos, Nikola and finally Vinoxavia... it is from these ten in which the first race of Viraai were born…”
