The rest of the week was a pure torture. I caught myself seeking for Amilia on many occasions. I was constantly on edge unless she was in my sight range, and when she wasn't I was moping around trying to sense her. In a few of those moments I even followed her scent around the castle just to be aware where she is and if she's safe. It turns out that she spends a LOT of time in the library. Which shouldn't be surprising since she is a straight A student.
It's official, the damn pull turned me into a stalker.
But one thing was calming. Not once did I sense Jake around her. Well, beside their Medicine Classes, but still it stopped my murderous instincts towards him. Thank the Goddess.
