Reminiscing

179 Words
Walking in circles, staring at the night sky, she was looking for stars. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any. "Maybe because it's cloudy tonight." She sighed and turned around to leave the terrace. Suddenly, a strong blow smashed against her face and made her look at the sky. The moment she looked at the sky again, the clouds started to disperse and she found what she was looking for. "Was my vision blurry before? Or this blow hit me that hard to make me hallucinate?" She thought to herself. She realized she still longs for her past self as she started looking for some peace between those twinkling lights. The peace which she couldn't find in her life, in her heart and in her thoughts. She smiled helplessly looking at the sky. She shook her head and looked at her front. Someone was standing there. It was a shadow. A bright shadow. As bright as moon which helped lessen the darkness on the terrace and made the lonely girl standing opposite the shadow visible. Shadow offered its hand to girl.
