"Okay, boys," I addressed my team as I skated around them at center ice before practice. "We've got one month until playoffs. One month to become the best possible team we can be. One month to get better than the competition. I know our record has been good so far this year, but that's no excuse to begin slacking off. Other teams will be working hard to prepare for playoffs, but we have to be the team that works harder than all the other teams. Practice is where championship teams are made. The road to the X starts here."
