We were scrimmaging in practice, and I was currently on the ice with Thomas Vanek and Zucker on my line. We were facing the line that consisted of Koivu, Neiderreiter, and Parise. Suter and Brodin were our defensemen, and when Koivu received a pass from Nino and took a shot, Brodin blocked it, allowing out team to take possession of the puck.
Suter brought the puck down the ice and past the blue line before passing it across the ice to Brodin. Brodin quickly passed it to Zucker, who was wide open. I centered as Zucker shot the puck. Devan Dubnyk, the opposing team's goalie, make a great save, but I skated in and shot a quick wrist shot in the direction of the net. The puck narrowly flew over Dub's shoulder and into the net.
