Chapter 8: I will be your model

Yazmine POV~

Dumating ako ng kompanya 7:30 in the morning. Pinark ko ang kotse ko sa mismong harap ng kompanya. Nang bumaba ako ay nakahanda na ang mga iilang reporter para kuhanan ako ang iba naman ay mga fans ko na gustong humingi ng autograph ko. Pero bago pa man sila maka-lapit ay napigilan na sila ng security.

I walk like a model and with confidence. I'm wearing pink asymmetric overlap dress, White high heels, frameless cut sunglasses and a white Chanel hand bag on my arm.

Nang maka-pasok ako ng lobby ay sinalubong ako ni Monique na may hawak-hawak na planner sa kanang kamay. " What is my schedule for today Monique? " tanong ko reto, agad naman nitong binuklat ang planner na dala-dala.

" You have conference meeting with all investors in 8:30 am, 11:00 am you have lunch meeting with Mr. Handerson and lastly you have meeting with Mr. Alcantara around 2 pm. " mahabang sagot nito at sinirado na uli ang planner na hawak.

" I want cappuccino from my favorite coffee shop please " utos ko reto.

" Okay ma'am " yun lang at nawala na ito sa paningin ko. Mag-isa akong pumasok ng elevator, the elevator is exclusively for VIPs only. Ibang elevator naman ang para sa mga employees. Pagpa-pasok ko ng opisina ay maayos ng nakahanda ang mga gamit ko, pati ang mga documents na kailangan kong permahan ay maayos na nakasalansan. Ipinatong ko ang ang bag ko taas ng office table at naupo ako sa swivel chair ko.

Ipinikit ko ang mga mata ko at bahagyang menasahe ang tuki ng Ilong. Wala naman ako masyadong ginawa nitong mga nakaraang araw pero feeling ko pagod na pagod ang katawan ko. Naputol lamang ang pag mumuni-muni ko ng makarinig ako ng katok sa aking pintuan. " come in " sabi ko reto.Pumasok si Monique na may dala-dalang cappuccino galing sa paborito kong coffee shop.

" Thank Monique " pagpapa-salamat ko dito na bahagya pang napa-hilot sa aking noo.

" Ma'am are you okay? " nag-aalalang tanong nito.

" Yes I'm fine " I give her an assuring smile. Tumango-tango naman ito at nagpa-alam na lalabas na ng opisina ko. 8:30 am came at papunta na ako ng conference room. Monique told me na ako nalang ang inaantay. Mas okay sakin ang ako ang aantayin kesa ako ang pinag-aantay. Pag-pasok ko ng conference room ay tumahimik ang lahat. I roam my stare at the whole conference room, everyone is already there.

" Let's talk about my plan on helping the Alcantara Co. " pag-uumpisa ko, everyone gasp at mukhang hindi inaasahan ang sasabihin ko.

" Es tu devenu fou? "(are you gone mad?) Mr. Madrid said. " Why do you want to help their company? " pagpapa-tuloy pa nito.

" I have thought about it carefully, we sell clothes while the Alcantara sell's bag. If everyone know about the Thea Inc helping Alcantara Co, everyone will be excited to buy bag's with Alcantara Co brand from now on. We will going to display Alcantara bags on our boutique nationwide and the Alcantara Co will do the same. This might be too risky but I assure you that this will going to be successful. All of you must already know me and you know that I don't like failures. " mahaba kong pagpa-liwanag sa mga to.

Everyone look to each other then whisper, maya-maya pa at sabay-sabay ang mga tong tumingin sa kanya. " Of course " I smirked. " The meeting is over, you can go now " sabay-sabay nag-sitayuan ang mga toh at lumabas ng conference room. " Monique, make a contract between Thea Inc and Alcatra Co, about what we just discussed earlier. Make it done before 2, it need to be sign by Mr. Alcantara later. " utos ko reto at umalis na ng conference room.

Its almost 10:30 am diko namalayan na ganon pala ka haba ang tinagal ng meeting. I still have a lunch meeting in 11:00 am so decided to prepare myself.

" Bonjour M. Henderson, I'm glad you came " binigyan ko ito ng matamis na ngiti at nakipag-kamay dito. Ck Henderson is the only child of Mr. Antonio and Mrs. Leana Henderson. The CEO position transfer to him after his father died. Their company is famous for creating beautiful designs and beautiful clothing fabric that our company need for creating new fashion trend.

" The pleasure is mine to became friends and partner to a famous and beautiful model like you Ms. Choi. " he gave me a weird smile.

" Thank you Mr. Henderson " I gave him a fake smile. Hindi lingid sa kaalaman ko na may gusto sakin ang lalaki na toh. Ayaw ko man mapalapit sa kanya at wala akong magagawa, para sa ikaka-buti ng kumpanya handa akong nakipag-plastikan.

Tristan POV~

I'm about to go back to the hotel from the restaurant when one girl got my attention. It was Yamine with a guy, they are happily talking and Yazmine enjoy the guy presence base on the smile to her face. I suddenly feel irritation, how can she smile with other men when she can even smile at me? I asked myself. I want to approach them and stop Yazmine from talking to that guy, but in the end I decided not to.

Yazmine is still mad at me and I don't know what her reaction well be if I do that. Baka mapurnada pa ang appointment niya dito mamaya, mahirap na.

I decided to drove off my car away from that place and back to the hotel. I only have 3 days to stay here in Paris and to convince Yazmine about the offer. I let out a heavy sigh, I hope eveverything will go smoothly as I wanted.

It's almost 1:30 in the afternoon nag-decide ako na mag-umpisa ng kumayak. I take a bath first, then after taking a bath I wear a Blue Casual Cotton Short Shirt, Brown Trousers, and a leather brown shoe's. I also don't forgot to brush my hair neatly. I pick up my car key, lock my hotel room, and leave.

Gaya ng unang umapak ako ng Thea Inc. marami na namang mga mata ang nakatutok sakin, most of them are women. I go near the reception area and inform one of the receptionist that I have appointment to their boss. She told me that I can go on and that Yazmine is already expecting me in her office. I nod to them then left, I'm about to use the VIP elevator but I just realized that I'm not yet one of the Vip's here so in the end I just used the elevator for the employees.

When I reached the Top floor, Her secretary Monique greet me. She told me that she will let her boss know first that I'm here already before she let me in.

" You can now go in Mr. Alcantara " she politely said and bow a little. I opened the door and busy Yazmine caught my attention, but despite of her busyness she still able to look pretty. I heard a gentle cough that wake me from mesmerizing her. I dint know that she already raise her head and now she's already reading me.

" Take a sit Mr. Alcantara " she said and I quickly did. She opened one folder that label ' Contract between Thea Inc and Alcantara Co. to its cover ' she handed me the folder and asked me to read it. It tells that the Thea Inc will be willing to help the Alcantara Co, but Alcantara Co must also return the favor to the Thea Inc. It's must be a win-win situation.

" After reading it and if you don't have anything to contrast sign it it " she handed me a fountain pen. I take the pen and put my signature above my printed name. I handed her the contract and she checked it.

" Where is the contract that you made for me? " she asked with a serious look. I open the suitcase that I'm carrying and take out the contract that I made.

" It tell their what kind of benefits you might get after accepting our offer and it also state their that I will take the consequences and blame if something happened " she just nod her head then sign it. She just sign it, my eyes gets wide after the realization. She turn her head on me and said, " I will be your model " I don't see any emotion on her face but I'm already happy that she accepted my offer.

" Now that the contract signing is done, let's now talk about where to held the photoshoots " I said.

" hmm.. I don't care where it will be, but you must take care of my security " she answered while crossing his arms to her chest.

" Of course, we will take care of your security and will make sure that you are safe every time " I seriously said.

" good " she simply answered. " now, do you have anything else to say? if none you can go now, I have still a lot of things to do " she said while started typing on her computer.

" Let's go to the Philippines together " she raised her head and look at me like I'm a kind of a joke.

" Okay, We will leave one day from now " she said as if she doesn't mind at all.

" Are you sure about that? " I asked her still wondering.

" Why? is their something wrong " she answered normally, I want to read what's going on her mind but I can't see any emotion to her beautiful face.

" okay, can I invite you for a dinner tonight? just serve as gratitude for your accepting my offer and for our partnership " I shyly rub the back of my head. I hope she will not notice it.

" I'm sorry but I have plan for tonight, maybe next time " she turn back to her computer.

" Its okay I understand, I will take my leave now " she just nod her head and didn't look at me.

" How is everything Sir? " her secretary suddenly asked.

" Everything done smoothly " I answered. She guided me to the elevator and way goodbye when the door is about to close. Ibinalik ko ang pag-iisip ko sa inakto ni Yazmine kanina. Wala manlang itong pinakitang kahit anong emotion. She really changed, she's doesn't even scared of me like before. But the fact that she agreed to go with me to the Philippines, I suddenly felt excited. Kung pwede ko ngalang sana wag na itong pabalikin ng Paris at gagawin ko, pero hindi ko hawak ang buhay nito ngayon at higit na mas mataas na ang katungkulan nito sa mundo ng negosyo kesa sakin.

Pero iisa lang ang tinitiyak ko, gagawin ko ang lahat para paibigin ito at makuha ang tiwala nito sakin. We maybe married, but it doesn't change the fact that we married without a love. Pareho kaming walang feelings sa isat-isa nang maikasal kami, but this time sisiguraduhin ko na hindi na ganon. Babawi ako dito at magiging mabuting asawa reto. Blessing in disguise din ang pagiging modelo nito para mapalapit sakin. Kung noon pa lamang sana ay nalaman ko na siya ang sikat na modelo na palaging bukang bibig ng marami ay sana ay matagal ko na itong napuntahan at nakausap. Pero di bali dahil ngayon sisiguraduhin ko na magiging maayos ang lahat sa pagitan namin ng asawa ko.

I can't help but to smile because of that thought.
