Knowing that the excitement was for a while was just the problem that Kept Elena worried and decided to call Mr Andrei later in the day. But for the meantime, Elena embraced the cherished moment by the customers and decided to enjoy the present and not think of the worries of the future.
Customers came in two's and three's.
“The strawberry rolls smell amazing,” one of the customer said, peering through the glass.
“They taste even better,” Elena replied with a grin, handing them a sample. Their delighted expressions said it all.
Before long, the shop was filled with chatter and laughter. The sound of mugs clinking and wrappers rustling brought the bakery back to life. Customers sat at the tables, enjoying breakfast while others took pastries to go.
