Egon stepped forth and I growled as I slammed at Damien's shoulders with all my strength . It was enough to make him fall back . I jumped up and kicked him toward the window.
Another kick and the impact broke the glass and he fell down . It was pretty much all the strength I had left and I felt the sharp pain in my side return three folded .
”I told you to take the others and go! If you had done what I told you to I could've taken care of Damien .” Selene scolded . I turned slowly and faced her.
”And his people? Let’s say you killed Damien, then what? What about the hundreds of warriors he had with him, you think they’ll put down the hatchet and walk away? No, they will fight til death to avenge their Alpha .”
