Chapter 9

PREVIOUSLY ON...

He was right, I should be heading to bed soon. Tomorrow I could train enough to hold my ground in the fight on Friday and win.

CHAPTER 9

It's on days like these that I appreciate living. The rain poured, and the usually sunny sky was now cloudy and dark. The peaceful noise of the water plummeting down and the comfortable silence wrapping around me.

Oh how I wish everyday was like today but, it's not. Today is Thursday, meaning that tomorrow is the grand fight.

I get out of bed, dragging my slouching body to the bathroom. I took my shower while also brushing my teeth and washing my face. I put my hair in a high ponytail and walked out. I grabbed my phone before heading to the kitchen, I made a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch along with some milk. I sit on the couch and put on some Mickey Mouse.

As the theme song played a soft knocking interrupted me. I paused the song and made my way towards the door. Standing there on the other side was Zac. He was dressed in the same fashion as me except, his onsie was light blue while mine was purple.

"H-hello" He said scratching the back of his head and averting his eyes.

"Hi there! Would you like to come in?"

He nodded, and we proceeded to make our way towards the couch.

"Is there a reason as to why you came here?" I asked.

He glanced at me innocently, through his eye lashes. He looked so freaking cute.

I smiled at him goofily before he started to laugh.

"I just wanted to come hang out with you."

"So your telling that you wanted to hang out with me at four in the morning? I don't believe it." I side glanced him.

Although I had so much doubt that he'd do such a thing he simply just nodded.

"Wanna watch Mickey Mouse?" Standing up I went to head for the kitchen for some snacks. I knew he'd say yes. Who can deny the fun and loving Mickey Mouse?

Once again he nodded. I grabbed some chips, along with icecream, crackers, and cereal.

I went into my room and snatched all the blankets and pillows in sight.

Getting comfortable on the floor next to Zac, I play the show once again.

"Remember when you assaulted me in the nurse's office?" Zac had asked.

I nodded remembering the pepper spray incident. I laughed reenacting the events in my head.

"I was terrified and, if I had to be honest, shocked as well."

I chuckled and patted his back. "Sorry for the scare, I was just scared."

"So like, is that your defense system or something?" He had asked.

I nodded. "Yea, I guess so." Yawning, I layed down against the floor along with Zac.

As the show was playing my eyes were starting to feel heavy. Closing them, I let my body relax against the floor and I snuggled against the blankets and pillows. I didn't check to see if Zac was awake or not, I was too tired. I let my conscious slip away, slowly but surely I fell asleep.

*Some Time Later*

"Shhhh, your gonna wake them, make sure to turn the volume and the flash off."

"Don't f*****g tell me what to do you retard."

"I'll have you know that this retard can stick their foot up your ass."

"Just shut up, please."

Before they could finish talking I heard a groan in front of me, as well as movement.

I opened my eyes and immediately closed them as a sudden flash had blinded me.

"I told you to turn the flash off you retard!"

I sat up, rubbing my eyes in the process. Once my eyes adjusted to the room, I was able to recognize the two figures standing in my dorm. Amelia and Jacob.

Why did they wake me up, I was sleeping so good. I hadn't been able to sleep that good in like forever.

Before I knew it tears came rushing to my eyes. Why the f**k am I so goddamn emotional? I'm not on my period right now? So what the hell?!

Why did they have to wake me up though to be honest, I was living my best life laying unconsciously on the floor.

There I sat continuously wiping the never ending tears.

"What's wrong baby?!" Amelia pushed Jacob out of the way to get to me. She rubbed my back while holding me tightly.

"I'm sleepy mommy!" At this point I was screaming. If you heard me you'd think I was getting murdered.

This stirred Zac and eventually woke him up.
