Dani and Piper spent their morning picking up Dani’s car from the repair shop. Piper stood in the lot with the invoice in hand, walking around it twice. “They did a great job,” she declared. “I don’t see a scratch on it.” Dani laughed. “You’d be more impressed if you’d seen what it looked like before.” Piper frowned. “I wish you would’ve taken pictures.” “It was a memory I didn’t need.” Dani pressed the fob and unlocked the doors.
