Quinn's POV
The reception seemed to be going well. Mrs. Sinclair had pulled out all the stops in terms of the food. She had gone with a cocktail-style dinner instead of a formal sit-down event. Landon and I had spoken with Alpha Amadeo and all of the elders. Amadeo wanted to stay for the trial as the Alpha King, and Elder Arthur agreed. It looked like all the other elders also wanted to stay for the trial, but they assured us there would be no interference from them. They all made it seem like the evidence was clear against Rob.
We had a tense moment when Ryan approached us with Brie. Most of the elders stiffened when they caught her scent. Brie and Ryan didn't stay long; they said hello to everyone before leaving to take Brie home. She said Dr. Wilde would have her back in the hospita
