“Oh Yeah!” Stone replied. “Clara is alive!” Stone added. “How did you know her?” Jack asked. “She’s my friend,” Stone answered. “Your friend or girlfriend?” Jack asked precisely. “What difference does it make?” Stone replied. The Sheriff whispers to Jack, “Stop being jealous.” Looking at Stone, the Sheriff said to him, “Take us to her,” the Sheriff said. “I bet we have lots of questions for her,” the Sheriff added as he picked his revolver from the woman who was shot by Stone. “You won’t be needing that,” Stone said to the Sheriff as he points at the Sheriff’s revolver. “You must kill me to take it off my dead body,” the Sheriff replied. “Lead the way please,” the Sheriff said to Stone. At the Sheriff’s department, they received a call that shots were fired in the Sheriff’s apartment. The lead FBI agent, Special Agent Lyn sent out two of her men to go check it out, while the rest continued with their investigation. Stone got to a castle at the county villa and pulled over, “Here we are!” Stone said as he opened the door of the car. As Jack and the Sheriff stepped out from the car, Stone walked up to them, “Whatever you see, don’t freak out,” Stone said as he led them into the castle. “What took you long?” one of Stone’s friends asked as he opens the entrance gate. “There was a traffic jam downtown,” Stone replied. After they entered through the gate, Jack said to Stone, “Did you just lie to that dude?” “I lie when it’s necessary,” Stone replied with a smile. “Is that so?” the Sheriff cuts in. “How sure are we that you aren’t lying to us right now about Clara?” the Sheriff asked Stone. “You are about to find out yourself,” Stone replied. As they got to the castle’s entrance door, the door opened, “This is a huge place for Clara to live,” the Sheriff said. “What do you think Jack?” the Sheriff asked Jack. “I think we should keep going,” Jack replied. “Very well my friend,” the Sheriff replied. The two FBI Agents sent by Special Agent Lyn has finally got to the Sheriff’s apartment. After knocking on the door with no response, they decided to help themselves in as they both brought out their side pistol. Back at the castle at the county villa, Jack and the Sheriff were seated, waiting for Clara to be with them and suddenly, a little girl appeared beside Jack, sitting close to him, “Hello!” the young girl greeted Jack. Jack screamed and quickly stood to his feet; seeing that the girl’s head was upside down. This also got the attention of the Sheriff who also stood up. “Why are you screaming?” the little girl asked Jack. “Don’t come close to me freak!” Jack said as he takes a step backward. “Oh! My head is upside down again,” the young girl apologizes as she adjusts her head back to its normal position. “Oh hell no!” Jack exclaimed. “Better now?” the young girl asked Jack. “That is freakier now,” the Sheriff cuts in. “Who are you?” Jack summoned the courage to ask the little girl. “I am Abby, a ghost,” the little girl answered. Jack looked at the Sheriff and fainted. At the Sheriff’s apartment, the two agents radioed the Sheriff’s department, alerting Special Agent Lyn of their findings. The two Agents were still observing the body of the man and woman shot by Stone as one tall man walks in. “Whoa! Whoa! You can’t be here,” one of the Agents said as he tried stopping the man. “This is a crime scene,” the second Agent said. “Jack wake up!” the Sheriff said as he fans Jack. As Jack manages to open his eyes, he asked, “Am I dead yet?” “Not yet my friend,” Clara said. Immediately Jack recognizes Clara’s voice, he jumped to his feet, “I am sorry my little friend Abby had to scare the crap out of you,” Clara apologizes. “Apology accepted,” Jack replied. “But…” Jack wanted to speak as Clara interrupted him, “I know you have lots of questions but I will give you time to ask three,” Clara said. “Why three-question only?” Jack asked. “Sorry, Jack you only have two questions left,” Clara replied. “Because I want to make this quick,” Clara answered. “Why did you lie to me about losing your memory?” Jack asked. “I did not lie to you,” Clara answered. “It was the truth,” Clara added. “How come you have such friends and you now remember things,” Jack asked. “My family saved me and helped me restore my stolen memory,” Clara answered. At the Sheriff’s apartment, the backup sent by Special Agent Lee got to the scene, they saw two of their Agents lying dead with their hearts ripped out. “Agents down!” one of the Agents radioed the Sheriff’s department and before they could know it, the same tall man walked in, “You can’t be here,” one of the Agents said as he was about speaking more, the tall man ripped the Agent’s heart out. The rest of the Agents pulled out their side pistol and started shooting at the tall man but to their greatest surprise, bullets had no effect on the man as the man quickly heals. “What the hell are you?” one of the Agents asked. Still at the castle, Jack wanted to ask more questions but Clara turned him down, “You have exhausted your questions,” Clara said. “But you have to listen carefully to what I have to say to you and the Sheriff,” Clara added. After introducing herself as an heir to an Alpha King, she stated how she was betrayed by her best friend who stole her memory in other to take her rightful place amongst the werewolf pack. “This betrayal led to the disunity in the supernatural world whereby ending the truce our ancestors and ancestress built for ages,” Clara narrated. “Some of the Vampires, Ghosts, and Werewolves joined my friend to get rid of me as the new Alpha Queen,” Clara added. “I don’t get this at all,” the Sheriff said. “What does that have to do with us?” the Sheriff asked Clara. “My friend has also declared war on the humans living in Texas, in other to get back at me,” Clara answered. “I was lost in Texas and the humans showed me kindness and their kindness is now a crime before my friend,” Clara added. “Who the hell is this your crazy a*s friend?” Jack asked Clara. “His name is Zukie and he can burn down the whole of Texas to the ground just to find me,” Clara replied. “Not when I am still breathing,” the sheriff cuts in. “He was once my lover. We were betrothed before he betrayed me,” Clara narrated. “How do I stop my city from being destroyed?” the Sheriff asked Clara. “I am not sure Sheriff,” Clara replied. “But one thing I am sure of is, Zukie must pay for his betrayal and damages he has caused to my kind,” Clara added. “You too are welcome to stay with us here if you so desire,” Clara said to Jack and the Sheriff. “I have a city to protect,” the Sheriff said. “I have to keep my city safe if a bunch of werewolves, Vampires, and Ghosts have targeted my city,” the Sheriff added as he walks out on Clara. Jack walked up to Clara with a sad look on his face, “So what we shared at my grandpa’s farm wasn’t real?” Jack asked Clara. “I am sorry Jack but balancing the Vampires, the Werewolves and the Ghosts like my ancestors and ancestress did is now my priority,” Clara replied. “I should have known better,” Jack said as he joins the Sheriff outside. “Let’s go home!” Jack said to the Sheriff. “You should be glad you did not get in bed with a werewolf,” the Sheriff said to Jack as they entered a taxi. “I lost my grandpa because of her and I haven’t even buried my grandpa,” said Jack with a sad look on his face. “You shouldn’t worry about that,” the Sheriff said. “The Sheriff’s department has buried him,” the Sheriff replied. “What!” Jack exclaimed. “We should be concern about getting rid of those dead werewolves in my apartment,” the Sheriff said to Jack. “I still can’t believe this,” Jack replied as they come out of the taxi and makes their way to the entrance door of the Sheriff’s apartment. As soon as they stepped into the Sheriff’s apartment, Special Agent Lyn knocked down the Sheriff and placed him under arrest.
