"What do you mean?" Queen Rebecca added, her voice laced with skepticism.
He pointed at William. "He was the one there when everything started."
They all turned their heads toward William. King Xandros narrowed his piercing eyes, and William exhaled deeply.
"The attack started in the neutral heaven around that mountain hill," he confessed, and my father's disbelieving gaze snapped back to me.
I breathed out and dipped my hands into my pants pocket, looking bored.
"That area is off-limits to the rogues. They are banned from entering there, so how was that possible?" Queen Rebecca's voice rolled out doubtfully.
"Someone might have sneaked them in. And that would be someone powerful," she added.
