It has been a long time since Ryder left me here. He said he would be back, but I have yet to see him, not even a glimpse of his shoulder.
Yes, somehow I miss him.
I stood up from the bed and walked straight to the open window, gazing outside. I could see the guards patrolling around, each vigilant in case of anything.
And the clouds were starting to darken.
"I miss him," I said in my head and pouted. I sighed and closed the window, going back to sit on the bed. That's when I heard a little voice that I had missed so much.
"He seems so different," Leah said.
