"He is here," Leah replied again in my head, confusing me further.
"Who?" I asked, staring right in front of me at the empty hallway.
"Jasper," she uttered, and my gaze widened.
And as if on cue, I saw him walk out from the direction that Ali had said led to Queen Rebecca's serenity heaven.
He turned and started walking in my direction, and my breathing hitched.
He lifted his head, and our gazes locked. And he threw me a malicious grin.
"What in the world was he doing here?" I spat in my head, and my fists tightened.
"I am also as confused as you are right now," Leah retorted.
I watched him, anger furrowing my brow. Lizzy and Ali looked at him and then back at me before refocusing their attention on him.
