Georgia tried to focus on the meeting, but her gaze kept drifting back to Bryony. The raven-haired beauty was a sight to behold. She was even lovelier than before. At Christmas, she had been overweight but still as delicious as Georgia expected. Since the break-up, Bryony had lost weight and was now built like an athlete with a petite frame.
She looked good. Very good. But there was a tinge of sadness around the eyes. She was a little paler than usual as well. Normally, Bryony was bright-eyed and smiling, even though these faded a little whenever she looked at Georgia.
