AMIRA’s POV

Our love is like wildfire, burning everything that came in contact with it, i became unbothered by my sister behaviours, I couldn’t care less. My man gave me all the attention and love I could ever ask for and more.

It felt like I was dreaming, the great and powerful Alpha crazily in love with me? He hardly let me go home but I didn’t want to move into his mansion until he marries me legally, people were already talking that he would. Dumb me for his mate and I was scared.

But I trust my man and my nights with him… my night with him is another world entirely, he’s a domineering man who likes to be in control, and I love it like that, I love to be his submissive.

“Have heard about you and I found it out to be true! You shameless b***h!” The new woman who introduced herself as Diana's furious and loud voice broke into my thoughts , I quickly tried to wipe the hot tears cascading from my eyes and looked away from the Alpha’s face, he wasn’t even looking at me anymore.

The sweetness of our relationship has come to an end just like I feared, his mate arrived this morning and has been harassing me with his mother before his arrival back from one of his many coperations, at first i didn’t mind them because I thought he had my back, but even after he arrived few minute ago, he has been avoiding my eyes and saying almost nothing to support me.

“Jasper … What should I do? Should I leave…should I…” I asked him since he wasn’t saying anything to reject his mate, all he had been doing was warning her to stop hurling insults at me.

“You dare not! You dare … Amira, don't let me go crazy, go inside your chamber and wait for me there!” He barked at me, his eyes firing directly at me. I moved away from him, his anger is very brutal and I don’t want to be the recipient. I folded my hand and I stood my ground, ignoring his orders to leave.

“You promised to choose me … you said you will reject her once she shows up… you aren’t Doing anything… ?…. you …. She’s staying here with us? Will you marry the two of us?” I asked, my voice trembling with tears in my eyes.

He opened his mouth to respond to me but his mother laughter stopped him, I almost forgot that she was there and she loathe me just like my sister, I knew she would be in support of diana, “shut your dirty mouth and go to your room like my son says, the real owner is here now” she barked at me.

“Mum! Please shut it or I will force you to leave now!” My mate ordered his mother too, his vein bulging out from his forehead, she closed her mouth shut at once, but kept making faces at me, Karen; Alpha Jasper mother, can be very jumpy and mouthy but she dare not to get her son angry, we all know what the king can do when he gets uncontrollably furious.

But that wasn’t my problem at the moment, right under my nose, all the promises he made to me were disappearing like they were never there, I don’t understand why he wouldn't reject her. I stared at Diana long and hard over again and noticed she’s beautiful, but so am I!.

“I can’t stay with this thing in this place … she will need to leave, my love” diana retorted to my mate, hitting me intentionally with her shoulder as she moved like a snake to the Alpha side, just to hold his hand, he didn’t remove his hand from hers but his frown deepened and he ignored her.

“I can’t marry you anymore, my mate is finally here and I have to be with her, I’m sorry that your mate left you and I’m sorry that I can’t keep my promise of being with you” he informed me without batting his eye lid, it was as if he wanted to capture my reaction.

I Burst into the tears which had been threatening to come out for long and ran out of their sight into my room, all through the night I cried and cried like a wounded person, he came to knock on my door but I warned my maids not to open up, he threatened and shouted but I didn’t bulge, he broke his promised and broke my heart. All the while he wanted me and wanted his mate as well!.

“Amira, you need to be patient with me … give me some years …. Please!” He called out from outside my door, for the first time ever, I heard the great Alpha beg, he never begs, he must be very desperate to keep his mate, the pain in my heart intensifies again at the new thought.

I decided to stay in my man's life but I wasn’t happy with him and I didn’t let him touch me, most of the time I ignored him or ran from him. He didn’t push me further, instead he respected my space and let me be. Diana and Karen were the biggest problem.

Their taunting and insults couldn’t be measured, Karen was beyond elated to have found an ally in Diana, “leave this poor thing Alone, she will leave this place very soon” she said to the fuming Diana one evening before the arrival of the Alpha, they dare not threaten or make me cry while he’s around.

“Everyone in the pack knows…. I’m the rightful Luna and the title can only be for one woman, you don’t have the mate bond … you can’t understand why he couldn’t reject me … you are the mistress…” diana jeered and sneered at me, with these words almost every day, calling me a mistress and reminding me of how the black axe people made fun of me and called me the unwanted wife.

Almost every night I cried in bed and thought of how to alleviate my pain, at long last, after a very tense and unbearable month I made my decision.

It’s a do or die situation and I don’t care what the Alpha will do to me if he finds out, he broke his promise to me first and I will break mine as well, “to hell with the consequence!” I yelled at myself in my bedroom, doubling up in pain, my body sweaty and hot.

The sickness I have been feeling since Diane's arrival intensifies at the thought of what I was about to do. The only thing that can stop my decision is if I don’t wake up the next morning.
