Lane was not used to this level of spontaneity, but Damien was something else. She was drawn to him by forces she didn't understand. Their dance at the nightclub may as well have been s*x with clothes on. She blushed with embarrassment at what others must have seen, but oddly, she wasn't ashamed of her pure lust for him. She wanted him and couldn't stand another moment without him. "Okay," such a simple reply brought joy to his face. "Let me go get my stuff. I don't have much anyway." Damien followed Lane's sexy arse up the stairs and into her apartment. she wasn't lying about the couch. It was drenched in her scent from her frequent use. She led him to her box room, which was neatly organised. She appeared already packed with two suitcases ready. "I just need to bag the rest," she mumbled out when she realised they were face to face in the doorway, inches apart. "I'll load these in the car." Damien picked up her cases and left. In his absence, Lane could breathe again and began searching for her things, questioning her sanity. What are you thinking? She chastised herself. I have not had s*x in a long time. That is all it is. Then her heart fluttered. A small voice in her head hoped they would do something tonight. She bit her lip. Too fast? She shook her head, having gathered her things, went to Damiens car, and they sped off. This was a new start.
