BRIANA THOMPSON The Day of the Harvey Clinic Hospital Gala One of the first things I did after taking over the hospital administration was to create a board of directors. At first, Alexander was a bit reluctant, but I managed to convince him. Unlike in his father's time, the board is now composed not of shareholder members who only seek profits and disregard everything else, but of doctors who, like us, want to save lives and do what's best for the hospital. The only shareholders are Alexander and Denner, and they will always have the final say on everything. The gala was quite a challenge—it was something I had never done before. I had never organized anything like it. On top of that was the formation of the board, along with other routine problems that always seemed to arise. Gret
