Laura had managed to get out of the station and into the worst of rush hour traffic possible. Dózsavölgyi had called her and questioned her for at least an hour about the investigation’s status. Health wise, the colonel had only gotten worse. His nose was totally stuffed and he constantly had to clear his throat. It looked like he wouldn’t be able to get out of bed the next morning, so he tried to give as much useful advice as he could to his new team leader.
Laura was unable to make her superior understand that the case was much more complicated than something they could solve in a blink of an eye.
