Laura’s apartment in the seventh district was once the home of her grandparents, which was later transformed into a law office. When her mother had retired, she gave the vacant property as a present to her daughter. Laura fixed it up and furnished the nearly four hundred square foot, high vaulted apartment to match her taste. Even though the heating bill cost an arm and leg during the winter, the spacious home was worth anything to her. As a teenager, she once got stuck in a gas station’s restroom, and she’s not been too fond of tight spaces ever since. This is why she also had a panic attack that morning.
