Laura hated drudging through administrative work as much as Kovacs did. Whenever he got bored of it, though, she would often be the one who typed up the reports. She was much more enthusiastic about it when she did it voluntarily, as opposed to now, when the task became a duty. Dózsavölgyi was serious when he said he would put her in charge of the team. She was already working on the case anyway, and there weren’t any other detectives as capable as her, either. The colonel disliked the idea of getting any more outside help, though Lengyel was regarded as a special expert.
