I was walking in the mall with Karen at naghahanap ng bagong librong babasahin. Natapos ko na kasi yung binabasa ko. Nagpunta kami ng Fullybooked and I was browsing through the Young Adult section while Karen was seated at the staircase, busy with her phone.
"Sino nanaman yang katext mo dyan?" I asked her.
"Si Nj lang." She answered.
"Kamusta na nga pala kayo?" My fingers touched the binds of the book as I read each title. Kami lang naman yung tao sa section na yun kaya naman okay lang na magusap kami ng malakas.
"Hindi ko alam, parang... parang gusto ko ng bigyan ng chance."
"So go for it!" I said and took one book out of a shelf and read the blurb on the back cover.
"Pero natatakot ako."
"Lahat naman tayo takot eh." I softly said and I glanced at her.
