CHAPTER FIVE
Claire and Grant avoided each other the next day.
Grant didn't know how Claire felt, he did not dare ask her for fear of what it might open up, but his own mind was a mass of confusion. Now that he had seen that man f*****g Claire last night, what was he to do? Nothing in his life had ever prepared him for dealing with a situation like this. As a geologist, his mind had been trained to deal with facts -- and he had enough of those to prove his wife's infidelity -- and he could handle that part of it. What he could not handle were the emotions that had come with the discovery. They were tearing him apart!
