With Don, it had everything to do with willingness.
Was he willing to help clean around the house? Was he willing to try different food? Was he willing to do something other than play video games all the time?
Sometimes Don’s measurability sucked. Other times he excelled.
He excelled when it came to game night. In anyone’s opinion, Don had lucked out when it came to Jolene. Named after a famous song and loving all things Dolly, Jolene didn’t seem to fit into anyone’s idea of the kind of girl that would end up with Don. Most people couldn’t figure out what she was doing with a guy like him.
