A week later, Andy firmly left the hospital and returned to his quiet apartment. Despite the objections of his doctors and friends, who warned him not to act so hastily, he knew he didn't have time to waste away in the hospital. The loss of vision is a heavy blow, but in his view, a greater challenge is still waiting for him-that is, to continue to advance his scientific research under new living conditions.
"Rose, let the AI assistant start analyzing the data, and then help me convert the latest experimental data into audio broadcast." Andy sat in front of the familiar workbench, his voice was calm but contained undoubted power.
Rose agreed softly, and soon, a string of cold data began to be broadcast through the AI assistant, and a calm and mechanical voice echoed in the room. "I'm here, Dr. Andy." Rose's voice came from the side.
"The data of Group 37 shows abnormal fluctuations. We need to recalibrate the quantum detector." Andy analyzed quickly, "Can you see the waveform on the holographic projection?"
Rose approached the holographic screen and observed it for a while, "Indeed, there is a tiny peak here."
But Andy shook his head, "That's not just a small peak, it may be the quantum fluctuation pattern we have been looking for for a long time. We need to zoom in on this area and analyze it in detail."
Rose looked at Andy in surprise, a little unbelievable, "Dr. Andy, how could you... I mean, you can't see now..."
Andy showed a wry smile, "Perhaps, losing my vision has sharpened my other senses. Rose, we can't give up. This discovery may completely change our understanding of quantum biology."
Just as they were delving into their discussion, suddenly the doorbell rang.

The moment the door opened, a familiar and friendly voice floated in, "Hello, Rose. Is Andy here?"
"Professor Hall, welcome, please come in." Andy immediately recognized the voice as soon as he heard it.
As the footsteps gradually approached, Andy felt someone gently pat his shoulder.

Andy shook his head firmly and said to Professor Hall without any doubt: "Professor, you know what this research means to us. We are very close to a breakthrough, and it would be unacceptable to stop now."
Professor Hall let out a long sigh, "I understand your feelings, Andy, but your health is more important. And... there are some problems in the laboratory."
"What's the problem?" Andy's tone was full of alertness.
Professor Hall's voice was low: "The superiors have doubts about our project. They think this research is too risky and may lead to unpredictable consequences. Even... they plan to terminate the entire project."
This news was like a bolt from the blue. Andy suddenly stood up from his chair and almost hit the table, "What? They can't do this! Our efforts are about to be rewarded, and we are at a critical moment!"
"I know, I'm trying my best to convince them." Professor Hall tried to appease him, "But unless we can provide some practical results in a short time..."
Andy took a deep breath and tried to calm down his emotions: "Please give me three days. After three days, I will produce results that are enough to convince them."
Professor Hall's eyes were deep, and after a moment of silence, he said softly: "Okay, I believe you. But please be careful, Andy. Your current physical condition..."

After seeing off Professor Hall, Andy immediately devoted himself to his intense work. Despite being unable to see, his mind was clearer than ever. He dictated every step of the experiment, while Rose was responsible for operating and recording all data.
They worked around the clock, as if racing against time. In this darkness, complex mathematical formulas and quantum models shone in Andy's thinking space.
In the early morning of the third day, when they were almost exhausted, an astonishing discovery suddenly occurred.
"Dr. Andy!" Rose suddenly exclaimed, speechless for a moment, "Look...oh, I'm sorry...I mean, the quantum detector captured an unprecedented signal."
Andy straightened his body immediately, "Quick, describe it to me in detail!"
"It... it looks like a complex geometric figure, composed of countless flashing light points." Rose's voice was full of excitement, "It is constantly changing and seems to follow a certain pattern..."
Andy's heartbeat accelerated. Rose's description was surprisingly similar to the scene he saw before he lost consciousness.
