Valerie's POV
"Chase, I need a break." I said.
"That's great honey, take a break and enjoy, who may know, you may get marry by next year." he said making me laugh.
"That won't be happening chase."
"You won't be coming for a month or?"
"I'm going to my home town and the office opening may take one month or so. I will be taking a break until the opening of the new office."
"Don't stress yourself." he said giving a pat to my head. I took all my belongings and hired a cab.
I reached New york early in the morning. I was tired as hell. I went to my apartment. I took a long nap before waking up in the night. I made myself a coffee and some pasta.
All the things and clothes are already packed as I am shifting to my home. I called my mom telling her that I will be home tomorrow evening.
