"Zachary's repeating a year? I don't believe it," Piper said as we entered the dorm.
I turned to her in surprise. "Aren't we in the same year?"
"No, Bern. Zachary's supposed to be a senior in his last year," Aggy said, flopping down on the couch. "And Jasher, well... he should have graduated by now."
My eyes widened. "Really? But why?"
"There was... an incident six months ago. We didn't think it would affect things that much." Piper looked at Paige. "Right, Paige?"
Paige quickly shook her head. "Let's not talk about it."
All three fell silent, which only made me more curious. What kind of incident did Zach and Jasher have?
