After Rock left, I gathered my laptop, sketchbooks, pencils, and pens and put them all in my laptop bag. When I had it packed, I grabbed my keys, phone, and purse and headed out the door. After I made sure that it was locked, I headed to my car. After putting my stuff in my car, I stood at the passenger door for a minute thinking.
I was still a little iffy about my family seeing me without my legs, but I could only wear my prosthetics for so long before I had to take them off. So I locked my car and went back inside to grab a pair of nubbing socks and my nubby prosthetics. Then I locked the house up again and headed out.
When I got to the car, I put the rest of my stuff in it and then got in. I started the car up, turned my music on, and then headed down the driveway. At the end
