The next morning, I woke up before the guys did. After I managed to squeeze out from between Rex and Ink, I went to use the bathroom. When I was done, I came back out to grab my prosthetics before heading downstairs. When I did, I saw that Shadow was in bed beside Ink. I didn't know what time he came home last night. I never heard him come in.
Since the guys were all still sleeping, I grabbed my prosthetics and then quietly headed out the door and downstairs. Once I made it to the living room, I got my legs on and headed to the kitchen. I planned to start with coffee and then make breakfast. But I couldn't do that without my legs. First, though, I left Willa out to go do her business. And when she was done, I brought her back in.
