After Shadow and Rex left to head to work, I made another pot of coffee and then went to change into clothes that I could work in. Instead of wearing pants, I put on a pair of shorts and grabbed my nubbin and took it back downstairs with me. I wanted to have them close just in case I needed them.
Once back downstairs, I noticed that Ink was heading out the back door. And that Willa was going with him. "I'll be back, baby. I'm going to go and feed the animals out at the barn. When Shadow and I did it last night while you and Rex were on your run, he showed me what I needed to do for them. So I'm going to make sure that they are good to go. That way we dont have to worry about them after your mom, and them get here," he told me.
