Chapter Four I suck in a deep breath the moment I walk in the room. "Caspian," I whisper, my voice cracking with the pain of seeing him like this. To my surprise, his face lights up as a smile spreads across his face. "You really came?" I nod. "Of course I did." I gesture to Thomas to leave the two of us. Now I'm in here, the certainty that I need to be alone with Caspian overtakes me. Thomas places a firm hand against my lower back. "I'll be outside."
