I didn't know how I found myself getting pushed to the bathroom by Keya. "Don't make a sound." She whispered and then the door was shut on my face.
"What just happened?" I muttered to myself
How did I go from trying to confront her to hiding in the bathroom? Why did you come here in the first place? A voice in my head rang.
I leaned my ears over the door to hear what was going on outside the door. I heard the sound of footsteps followed by an unfamiliar voice. I did not doubt that the woman's voice belonged to Keya's Mom. "Is everything okay? I heard a man's voice."
