ELLA'S POV One last glance at my reflection through the mirror. I shifted my gaze back to Liya who stared at me with keen interest. “We also went sprinting together.” A vivid flashback of my run through the woods with mother flooded my memory, easing the pent-up worry that rested in my heart. She heaved. “I'm glad everything went well.” Liya took a sip from her cup of latte. Yes, she didn't miss out on a good snag of coffee right before classes.
