I clenched my chest and curled my hands around the edge of the basin. I opened my mouth for air but it only got worse, so I clamped it back shut. I tried to reach for my wolf, but she was buried deep inside of me. Probably, sulking over how she got picked on by her mates. I exhaled sharply. I was barely standing and I tightened my wrist against the basin for support. Just then, the blood on my head dried and the flesh that was cut open began to magically fuse together. My eyes nearly popped out of its socket because a few seconds later, the spot was covered up, like it wasn't bleeding a few seconds ago. I was too stunned to speak.
