I was still seething from the altercation with Roman. The closer he was to me, the more I couldn't stand him. I brushed past Lori and Kai and settled into one of the couches.
“I have to go for training,” it was a subtle announcement. Yet, strong enough to send the right message.
Kai nodded, and cleared his throat. “Fine. I…erm, I'm going to make this as fast as possible,” he grunted. My gaze shifted to him. His facial expression was pale. Before I could try to figure out what the problem was, he stated, “First, we're going to address the incident that happened at school.”
