My ears were perked to listen for the faintest sound of the bell. I occasionally shifted my gaze between my phone screen and Liya. Only a few minutes before the call comes in.

Finally, after what seemed to last for an eternity, the bell finally went off. The teacher breezed out of the class first, followed by the rest of the students, till it was only I and Liya left.
