ELLA'S POV It's been a week since I came back to my pack. An entire week that juggled between being nerve-wracking and a bitter-sweet experience. I took one last glance at my reflection in the mirror, adjusted my bag on my shoulders and headed out. A small gasp escaped my lips when I pushed the door open to see mother standing right in front of my door. Her face lit up with a genuine grin. “I guess you're ready to go back to school.” My insides churned with an odd emotion at her words. I shrugged my shoulders, to fight back the thudding that was going on in my heart. “It’s not like I have much of a choice.” She reached for my sleek ponytail and tugged at it smoothly. “Probably you won't have to deal with it, because…” “There would be no school year.” We said together and laughed
