"No mom ! I'm not walking like that ". I immediately replied to her, trying not to stutter.
I didn't even know her gaze was on me while I was entering inside....and my walking steps, I didn't know it was so noticeable.
Mom walked towards me and started looking at me from head to toe. I tried not to look at her at all.
"Are you in your cycle?"
"No mom. It's by the end of the month. "
"So why are you walking like this? Did you injure your thigh?"
"No , not at all . I just feel weak on my legs , but I'll be fine if I get inside now. " I was trying to end the conversation . I knew for sure that my mom was only trying to show concern and she wouldn't even stop until she got to know what was wrong.
