I paced back and forth in front of the window. I had seen My Alpha, Queen Aria along with King Xavier and Lucian her Beta, enter the pack house some time ago through the large window on the 2nd floor of Austin's house. She had told me she had a meeting with Alpha Linton today but I was so worried. Worried I would fail her, worry my mate would think I betrayed him, and worry that I'd be banished from this pack because I was a traitor and a spy. A Beta's mate was automatically accepted into his pack as a part of their family. I was anything but their family and that pained me so bad.
